Here’s the scoop: I’m Shannon, I live in Baton Rouge, LA, love my job, love my family, love my friends, I just love my life! I work at 225 Magazine and Baton Rouge Business Report. I am also a “full-time” volunteer at Healing Place Church (lol!). I work with the youth ministry…gotta love those teenagers!
I love to laugh, and I love making people laugh. I am sometimes labeled a “girlie girl.” O.k.-all the time! Some people say I’m ”a brunette with many blonde moments.” It’s pretty accurate! Those are the moments where I make people laugh. And I am in love with one man…His name is Jesus!
I just want you to know how blessed I feel when reading some of your thoughts in word. I have always known our heavenly Father has something bid in store for you, and just keep on serving, praying, and following Him, and above all, be patient, (unlike me!), and He will lead you exactly where you should be, and remember this my firt born, He will always do it in His time!!

My mother in law, who I turned onto Julio’s Mental Snack, forwarded me one of the entries. That got me to thinking that I have not been getting them, which got me to thinking about you! Anyway, I found your blog on Julio’s website while I was digging around looking for where to sign up for the snack! That is so cool! We have to get together soon! Brady made 3 mos yesterday! Time flies! I am back at work and still love my job! You probably are better able to organize your thoughts than me with the baby,Austin, work,t-ball, etc, so I am making it your responsibility for the next few months to stay in touch.
